Aerospace Flight Academy – “Making Dreams Take Flight”
 SPECIFIC TARGET MARKET
In accordance with requirements of the District of Columbia’s Department of Employment Services Summer Employment Program, we provided a ten-week program for DCPS students, age 14-18 that either graduated or are now sophomores, juniors, and seniors in a DCPS high school. Jwahir Enterprises provides academic enrichment, career exploration, work-readiness, and leadership skills training through an intensive ten-week program in the metropolitan DC area and in Salina, Kansas. The program provides flight training, aerospace education, project-based learning, writing and speech workshops, and on-hands electronic and computer skills training all within a collegiate environment.
The Jwahir Aerospace Flight Academy provides a taste of college life to these high school students by hosting the summer activities at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) and Kansas State at Salina. The Flight Academy gives students the true college experience with special emphasis encouraging them to pursue a college degree.
